Blacksburg Library and The Blues Initiative presents Free Kids Harmonica Lessons with The Blues Initiative on Thursday, November 2, 2023.

Event Schedule:
• 5:00-6:30 PM: Harmonica Lesson
• 6:30-7:30 PM: Kids Jam
• 7:30-8:00 PM: Follow-up Discussion on the Blues Youth Program

The Blues Initiative, an undertaking of The New River Blues Society, is working with the Christiansburg Institute to provide free harmonica lessons to the youth in our community. Our goal is to foster their interest in the rich history of Blues music.

Admission is free and each kid will receive a free harmonica.

For ages 8-18.

We invite all parents to sit through the lesson and the kid's jam and join us from 7:30-8:00 PM for a follow-up discussion concerning the development of our Blues Youth Program.

The Blacksburg Library is located at 200 Miller Street in Blacksburg, VA.
