The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the play "Sleep Deprivation Chamber" with six performances starting Tuesday, November 2, 2023 through Saturday, November 11, 2023 inside the Squires Studio Theatre within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Performance Schedule:

"Sleep Deprivation Chamber" is a surreal docudrama written by Adam P. Kennedy and Adrienne Kennedy and directed by David R. Gammons. The docudrama details the events surrounding the brutal attack and wrongful arrest of Adam P. Kennedy in 1991. Displaying multiple simultaneous viewpoints, it distills their combined experiences into a telling exposé rich with his mother’s "meta-theatrical style," which uses dream and memory to create visceral probes of the conscious and subconscious experiences.

Tickets are $15.00 for general admission and $12.00 for seniors and students.

Tickets may be purchased through the Moss Arts Center ticket office in person Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, by phone at 540-231-5300 or online at https://www.performingarts.vt.edu/performances/2023/11/sopa-sleepdeprivationchamber.html. Tickets will also be available at the door, cash only, in the Squires Student Center beginning one hour prior to the performance.

Please note all seats are general admission.

Parking fees do apply Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM. Attendees can display a parking permit, utilize the ParkMobile app, pay the daily charge for a pass or pay for parking using an hourly meter.

The Squires Studio Theatre is located at 290 College Avenue in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
