Virginia Tech Relay For Life presents their 2023 Riff Off on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 inside the Haymarket Theater located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Come out to Riff Off to watch the talented Virginia Tech A Capella groups compete for the title of champion!

• Sensations

Juxtaposition is an all-male Virginia Tech A Capella group that was established in 1994 and has since produced seven albums and been awarded numerous awards and honors.

Traveling to colleges all along the east coast we enjoy performing our wide repertoire of 70's, 80's, 90's and current hits. Perhaps, however, our favorite gigs are those that occur on campus for our fellow Hokies.

Mixed Emotions was originally founded in 1996 as "Risking Cooties" and is both the second-oldest a cappella group and the premier co-ed a cappella group at Virginia Tech.

Soulstice is Virginia Tech’s premier all female a cappella group. The group was formed in 1998 and performs at various events in the area.

TechNotes is a co-ed A Cappella group at Virginia Tech that performs at various events throughout the year. The group also holds a concert at the end of each semester. TechNotes was founded in 2010.

Sensations is an all female acappella group founded at Virginia Tech during the fall semester of 2003. We are a diverse group of girls who share one passion- singing! Since our inception, we have sung The Star Spangled Banner on national television for DC United, traveled to perform at other universities, and recorded our EP, Janie Lane.

We perform winter and spring concerts and are available for other performances. Please contact us if you are interested in having us perform at your event!
