InStill Mindfulness presents The Way of Tea: Quieting the mind through tea on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Living Light River Studio in Floyd, VA.

"The Way of Tea" is a fundraiser for InStill Mindfulness. Join us in the practice of drinking tea and quieting the mind. Hosts Jagadisha Rotella and Sarah McCarthy will share a short history of contemplative tea, lead a somatic body relaxation and mindfulness inquiry, share Camellia Sinensis (tea), and practice quiet sitting together.

When we are able to truly meet the tea, at that very moment we are truly alive. Drink your tea slowly and reverently, as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves – slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future. Live the actual moment. Only this moment is life.
