Blacksburg Contra Dance presents their November Blacksburg Contra Dance on Saturday, November 18, 2023 on the dance floor at the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

Dance Schedule:
• 7:00-7:30 PM: Beginners Lesson
• 7:30-10:30 PM: Contra Dance

Join us on Saturday after the Virginia Tech football game for fabulous music from Jim Morrison and Lynne Mackey with Brian Hamshar calling the dance! Tell all your friends, co-workers, and everyone you know to come too! Better yet bring them along.

Contra Dance is a traditional American dance in which couples dance in two long facing lines or in groups of four.

The cost is $10.00 for adults, $8.00 for students and children under the age of 16 are free.

No experience necessary. No partner required. All dances taught.

A beginner lesson starts at 7:00 PM and the dancing starts at 7:30 PM.

All are welcome.

If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself so we can see you at our next dance.

The YMCA at Virginia Tech is located at 1000 North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA.
