The Pearisburg Public Library presents Mixtapestry with Moss Arts Center for Pre-K through 12th Graders on Thursday, November 16, 2023.

The Moss Arts Center of Virginia Tech is working on a collaborative community art project called "Mixtapestry". Students from grades Pre-K through 12th grade will be able to come to the library and work on creating a woven CD project using upcycled materials to display as a community installation at the Moss Arts Center.

Materials will be provided, but young artists can also bring their own CD and yarn to weave with if they'd like.

No registration required.

The final project will be on display at the Moss Arts Center from Friday, December 8th through Sunday, December 17th.

The Pearisburg Public Library is located at 209 Fort Branch Road in Pearisburg, VA.
