The Floyd Radio Show is an old-timey variety show with original radio plays, comedy bits, ads, jingles, music and more, hosted by Kelley Breiding. Celebrating old time and traditional music with people and communities where music is played and enjoyed in its authentic and purest forms. The show is rooted in Floyd, Virginia where a musical and artistic community provides endless inspiration for the show which appears live at the Floyd Country Store 4 times over the 2023-2024 season (October 7th, December 2nd and February 3rd and April 6th).
Seth Mulder & Midnight Run is traditional bluegrass music at its best! Hailing from the heart of the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, TN, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run present a high-energy show filled with nostalgic entertainment, tight harmonies, and skillful musicianship, all built around a curated set list of original material and lost covers.
Incorporating elements of Bluegrass, country, folk, and roots music. Seth Mulder & Midnight Run aim to preserve the legacy of bluegrass music and carry that torch forward into the future with their music.
By definition, they are a traditional bluegrass band but progressive by writing their own material and presenting old material like no other in the genre.
In a day and age where authenticity is everything, Seth Mulder & Midnight Run are the real deal; as one of the most talked-about young bands on the circuit today, the future of bluegrass music is in good hands.

https://www.instagram.com/MidnightRunBluegrass/The Empty Bottle String Band specializes in playing toe-tapping, highly danceable traditional Appalachian music. They are known for their upbeat tunes and feel-good music. Their sound is inventive, while still staying close to the old time string band tradition of the 1930's.
Their impressive stage presence is coupled with a delightfully self-effacing strength and confidence in their music. They have become a festival favorite wherever they go and are one of the Appalachian region’s most popular old-time groups.

https://www.youtube.com/c/theEmptyBottleStringBand/videosDevon Sproule’s music welcomes the magical and the tangible. It celebrates human complication in the language of nature. It is North American music with weirdo roots.
Since 2007, Sproule’s recordings have been released by Tin Angel Records, based in Coventry, England. She collaborates regularly with Toronto-based band Bernice and producer Sandro Perri. In Summer 2015, she recorded songs from a new collection, “The Gold String,” in Yukon and Nova Scotia. Besides Canada and America, Sproule also tours regularly in Europe and has traveled with her music to Africa and Australia.
“Sproule’s lyrics glance off each other arrestingly, juxtaposing images.” (Financial Times). “Her quirky affectations bring to mind Bjork, and forays into the dark, Michelle Shocked.” (Village Voice)
Devon Sproule is a Canadian/American musician living in rural Virginia, raised on eco-villages near Kingston, Ontario and Louisa, Virginia. The 33-year-old, in addition to being a musician, is a high school drop-out, a birder, and a student of Deaf Culture and sign language.
