The Giles High School Theatre Department presents the play "An Old-Fashioned Christmas" on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at Giles High School.

The Theatre class has been working on a Christmas play! The exciting part is this play was planned, organized and directed by students.

Play Synopsis: "Residents of a retirement center wish for an old-fashioned Christmas. Their wish comes true, with unexpected complications: the microwave becomes a wood stove, with a pile of wood waiting to be chopped; the bathroom disappears and an outhouse springs up in the backyard. They eventually decide that today is better."

Admission is in the form of donations to help build Christmas food boxes for local families and to restock the Giles High School Kindness Closet.

Items Needed include:
- body wash, shampoo or conditioner
- deodorant
- boxed instant mashed potatoes
- canned yams
- canned vegetables
- canned gravy / gravy mix packets
- boxed stuffing
- boxed dessert mixes
- crackers
- lunch kits (chicken, tuna, etc.)
- anything microwaveable (mac and cheese, Hormel TV dinners, ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, soups, etc.)

An Old-Fashioned Christmas is fun for audiences of all ages.
