The Radford University College of Visual & Performing Arts presents the Rock Icon Series Concert: Sting and the Police on Friday, March 22, 2024 inside the Covington Center on the campus of Radford University.
The Radford Commercial Music Ensemble will present a selection of songs from the iconic rock band, The Police, and lead singer Sting.
The Police sold more than 75 million albums in their relatively brief career as a group and scored six Grammys. In 1985, after the success of the international #1 LP Synchronicity, bassist, songwriter and lead singer, Sting began a remarkable solo career beginning with The Dream of the Blue Turtles. Sting is one of the most decorated musicians of all time with 17 Grammys and 24 American Music Awards among others.
The event is free and open to the public.
