The Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech presents the United States Navy Band in concert on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
The United States Navy Band is the premier wind ensemble of the U.S. Navy. As the original ensemble of the Navy Band, the concert band has been performing public concerts and participating in high-profile events for 98 years. The band performs a wide array of marches, patriotic selections, orchestral transcriptions, and modern wind ensemble repertoire. One of the band’s core responsibilities involves touring the country. Part of the 2024 national tour, this concert is a family-friendly event, meant to connect community members across the country with their Navy.
Admission is free with a limit of six tickets per request.
Tickets will be available beginning Thursday, January 18th at 10:00 AM.
Please note: Large bags or backpacks are not permitted inside the theatre during the performance.
Co-presented by the Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts and the Moss Arts Center.
