The Floyd Center for the Arts presents Opening Reception for "Beyond Boundaries" on Saturday, February 10, 2024 in both the Hayloft and Falcon Galleries.
The human experience comes in many forms. Although we may all exist together, we all have a unique perspective on life. What remains steadfast is the innate desire to create that lives within us all. Regardless of how our lives look, creating and expressing are things every human does in their own way. This exhibition invites you to look at authentic and unfiltered expressions and experiences not often remembered in typical art scenes.
Artwork for this exhibition has been contributed by Enola Group's Signature Day Program in Morganton, NC, the Appalachian Artisan Center's Culture of Recovery Program in Hindman, KY, Gateway Homes in Radford, VA, and Chris Walters of Circle of Friends in Floyd, VA.
Light refreshments will be available.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
"Beyond Boundaries" will be on display from February 10, 2024 through March 30, 2024.
The Floyd Center for the Arts is located at 220 Parkway Lane South, Suite 1 in Floyd, VA.
