JBR Vineyards LLC presents The Art of Pruning event on Saturday, February 17, 2024 and Sunday, February 18, 2024.

Event Schedule:
• Saturday, February 17th from 12:00-5:00 PM
• Sunday, February 18th from 1:00-5:00 PM

Pruning grape vines is an underappreciated art because it quite literally determines the outcome for the entire harvest this year. Every winter while the vines are dormant, we must cut them back rather severely. The fruit comes off of new growth every year.

Taste some delicious wines, learn the secrets behind crafting exceptional wine, and try your hand at pruning (bring your own pruners). A pruning demonstration will be held at 3:00 PM and we will have free vine cuttings while supplies last that some use for crafting and wreaths.

Admission for the event is free.

Tastes are $1.00, glasses of wine are $5.00 and bottles range from $15.00-$20.00.

JBR Vineyards is both kid and dog friendly.
