The Jessie Peterman Library presents a Wild Gardeners program titled "Sacred Herbal Traditions and Cultivating the Self Through Plants" on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
This class will explore some of the sacred herbal traditions in Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Native American Herbalism, Western Herbalism, and Rastafari. We will discuss some of the best medicinal herbs to cultivate in our area and how to use them.
Ed and Maya Skopal and their three children have been cultivating and selling medicinal herb products on their small Floyd family farm (I-Tal Acres) for many years. They have a wealth of knowledge and wisdom we are lucky to have in our community. Find out more about them at:
