Eastern Divide Brewing presents Community Pint Night for Christiansburg Institute with Live Music from McFadden & Friends on Friday, February 23, 2024.
Join us for an unforgettable night celebrating Black history with music from McFadden and Friends, a silent photo auction, raffle and fundraiser as we come together for a special event hosted by Christiansburg Institute, New River Blues Society and Eastern Divide Brewing Company.
The dynamic sounds of the great and powerful McFadden and Friends will fill the air from 6:00-8:00 PM. Bid on framed, museum-quality digitized prints from the Christiansburg Institute Museum & Archives, showcasing the rich history of Christiansburg Institute and the New River Valley. And, every pint you enjoy contributes $1.00 to the important cause of supporting Christiansburg Institute.
McFadden and Friends is a Southwest Virginia quartet performing blues, jazz and more that has come together after over 150 years of combined musical experience and paying their dues. The band is committed to quality and presentation.

Admission is free and all are encouraged to attend.
During the years of segregation in Southwest Virginia, Christiansburg Institute served the educational needs of African American students from up to fifteen counties at a time. Christiansburg Institute closed in 1966 when local public schools integrated.
