The Women's Center at Virginia Tech presents the 2024 Clothesline Project Display on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Alexander Black House & Cultural Center.
The Clothesline Project Display raises awareness of gender-based and sexual violence. Survivors of violence create shirts emblazoned with direct messages and strong illustrations. The shirts demonstrate the pain and suffering of the survivors, aid in their healing process, and celebrate their strength and courage to overcome the past.
The Display will be on the public sidewalk in front of the Alexander Black House.
The Alexander Black House & Cultural Center is located at 204 Draper Road in Blacksburg, VA.
