The Radford Public Library presents Radford Reads with Radford University presents Virginia Author Carylee Carrington on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
Join us for a special author storytime with Virginia author Carylee Carrington! The first 20 participants will receive a free copy of one of her books.
Author Carylee Carrington lives in Northern Virginia with her two amazing boys, where she enjoys an active lifestyle. Originally from the island of Jamaica, she grew up in New York City, before making Northern Virginia her home. She is, to some, known as the "accidental author," because this was not where she thought her path would lead. Though she loves writing, being a children’s author was the furthest thing from her mind. Ensuring that children have access to diverse literature, has become a mission that drives her as an author and advocate.
This event was made possible by our partnership with Radford University's University Libraries, Teaching Resources Center and College of Education and Human Development.
The Radford Public Library is located at 30 West Main Street in Radford, VA.
