The Virginia Tech Men's Basketball Team hosts an opening round game for the 2024 Men's Basketball NIT Tournament against the University of Richmond on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Cassell Coliseum.
Virginia Tech is the #3 seed and Richmond is unseeded. The game will be televised on ESPN2.
Tickets are $20.00 per person. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
General public tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 18th beginning at 2:00 PM with a ticket order limit of six (6) tickets. Should any tickets remain on Tuesday, March 19th at noon, the ticket order limit will be lifted.
Tickets will be available online at: https://hokiesports.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/SEGetEventList?groupCode=NIT&linkID=vtech.
A limited number of student tickets have been purchased and donated to Virginia Tech Athletics. These tickets will be complimentary for students and can be claimed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning 24 hours prior to tipoff, limit one ticket per student. The student ticket claim process will follow the same process as the men's basketball regular season.
All seating will be reserved with the exception of the student section.
The winner between Virginia Tech and Richmond will advance to play the Ohio State-Cornell winner on March 23rd or 24th at the site of the higher seed.
Complimentary parking will be available for all games in lots 1 (Cassell) and 5 (Chicken Hill). Parking will be first-come, first-served.
Doors open at 7:30 PM and tip off is set for 9:00 PM.
