The Blacksburg Young Professionals presents "Take Your Seat at the Table: Energizing Young Professionals for Community Impact" on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Corporate Research Center Training and Events Center in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.
This is an exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded young professionals interested in serving their community through service opportunities. We'll share how to find opportunities in our region that fit your busy schedule, including serving on nonprofit boards.
This event will include a panel discussion led by Jessica Wirgau, the CEO of the New River Valley Community Foundation. Whether you have experience working with nonprofits or are entirely new to community service, this event will give you some new knowledge and resources to kickstart your journey towards new meaningful community engagement.
