The YMCA at Virginia Tech in collaboration with WUVT presents Bloom Fest 2024 featuring five local bands performing on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the Lancaster House on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Enjoy an outdoor event featuring live performances from Crack In The Sidewalk, Cherry Moon, Beep!, Ellett Roadside and Hologram Annie. This is a concert by students for students.

Crack In The Sidewalk is a band based in Blacksburg, VA performing alt rock and more.

Cherry Moon is a Blacksburg-based, psych-rock band inspired by 70s psychedelia, 80s synths, and 90s grunge. And, they love a space theme.

Ellett Roadside is a Blacksburg, VA based rock band performing a wide variety of music including Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Strokes, Alice in Chains, Artic Monkeys and more.

Admission is $2.00 at the door with cash or Venmo.

All proceeds will benefit the YMCA at Virginia Tech community programs.

Doors open at 4:00 PM and the music starts at 5:00 PM.

Note: This is a sober event.

WUVT-FM 90.7 Blacksburg is the New River Valley's only source for independent, alternative programming. One of the oldest campus radio stations in the country, WUVT is currently based on the third floor of Squires Student Center at Virginia Tech. Woovit broadcasts in the Blacksburg and New River Valley area at 90.7FM
