Description:
The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley presents their 2024 IDA Wine & Beer Silent Auction on Friday, April 19, 2024 at the Blacksburg Country Club.

Enjoy an evening of beer & wine tasting, heavy hors d'oeuvres, dancing to Earl Brown's Dynamic Sound and a silent auction including great items and a silent auction including great items courtesy of local business and community members. IDA provides activities for persons with intellectual disabilities.

Auction items include: Signed Virginia Tech Women's Basketball, 43" LED TV, handmade quilts, hand painted wine glasses, artwork, yard art, and so much more!

The cost is $35.00 per person at the door.

The Intellectual Disabilities Agency of the New River Valley provides a variety of programs including social, recreational, educational activities throughout the year for children and adults with an intellectual disability who live in the New River Valley area of southwest Virginia. Such programs address the human need for a balanced life that combines not only rest and work, but also meaningful leisure pursuits.

The agency, started by parents who were seeking services and programs for their loved ones, believes individuals deserve access to opportunities and resources available to all others. Therefore, our agency also provides advocacy supports to promote such access.
