The Marketplace continues with Friends of Peak Creek Nature Series Kickoff on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Pulaski Train Station.
Join the New River Valley chapter of Virginia Master Naturalists in partnership with the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources for the first session of Friends of Peak Creek Summer Nature Series, a new education / outreach program, with the first session titled "Living with Black Bears in Virginia and how to be BearWise".
Learn about bear biology, what attracts bears to our neighborhoods and yards, how to avoid negative interactions and resolve conflicts, and what you can do to help keep bears wild! There are two session offerings at 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM.

The Pulaski Train Station is located at 20 South Washington Avenue in Pulaski, VA.
