The Engagement Center for Creative Aging at Virginia Tech presents a Community Choir Concert titled "The Beat Goes On" on Monday, April 29, 2024 inside the Creativity and Innovation District LLC Building on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Concert Schedule:
• 5:15 PM: Doors open with social and snacks in the Grand Assembly
• 5:45 PM: Concert starts with music and singing in the Performance Hall
Our choir is made up of persons with dementia and their caregivers, Virginia Tech faculty, staff, students, and community members! Choir accompaniment will be provided by local rock band of retirees Off Our Rockers which includes former Virginia Tech faculty and staff. Our community choir has been meeting since November and is so excited to perform for you all, show off their hard work, and of course have a little fun!
The choir is singing music about music. Be prepared to dance and sing in this celebration of community!
This concert is free and open to the public.
Doors open at 5:15 PM and the concert starts at 5:45 PM.

The Creativity and Innovation District LLC Building is located at 185 Kent Street in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
