Claytor Lake State Park presents the program "Welcome Back Bluebirds" on Saturday, May 11, 2024 meeting at Claytor Lake State Park's Conference Center.

For decades, citizen science has helped increase bluebird populations.

Join us at the Water's Edge Meeting Facility at Claytor Lake State Park for a program on Eastern Bluebird biology, learn how to attract and enjoy these wonderful birds and build nest boxes for them. This will include the natural history of bluebirds, conservation and protection, and how to create and monitor your own bluebird trail.

Meet at the Park's conference center at 2:00 PM for a presentation and a walk along parts of the Park's bluebird trail.

The event is free, but the $7.00 per vehicle state park parking fee will apply.

Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
