Historic Smithfield presents a Story Tour titled "More Than a Fraction" on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

Join us for an adult story time, a walkthrough of Historic Smithfield that’s a step above a traditional tour of historic facts! Let your imagination collide with your tour as author Kerri Moseley-Hobbs reads excerpts from her book "More Than A Fraction" which explores the personality, internal thoughts, lives, and experiences of the Fraction family who were enslaved at Smithfield.

Accompany Kerri as she moves throughout the rooms and the grounds of Smithfield, reading excerpts that are set at each place, allowing attendees to visualize the stories as they unfold.

No sign up or ticket purchase is necessary.
