Rising Silo Farm Brewery presents the August Open Mic Night on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Open Mic Night returns to the farm brewery! Calling all musicians, poets, comedians and storytellers. Join us for a monthly series of creativity, expression and celebration of local talent hosted by local musician Amelia Empson. Both seasoned performers and first timers are welcome.
The PA system and mic will be provided.
Sign-ups to perform start at 5:00 PM and the Open Mic is from 6:00-9:00 PM. Time slots will be roughly 5 to 10 minutes per performer.
Open Mics will be held on various Thursdays on most months of the summer and fall. The schedule of Open Mics for the Fall and Summer are May 30th, July 11th, August 8th, September 5th and October 10th.
Rising Silo is a family-friendly space so we ask that performers keep content "PG-rated", and will relax that request for the last set from 8:00-9:00 PM.
Rising Silo Farm Brewery is located at 2351 Glade Road in Blacksburg, VA.
