The 39th Pearisburg Festival in the Park will be held over three days starting on Thursday, June 6, 2024 and continuing through Saturday, June 8, 2024 on the grounds of the Pearisburg Community Center.

Friday Schedule:
• 6:00 PM: Mayor's Welcome & Dedication and National Anthem
• 7:00 PM: Appalachian Hoedowners Perform
• 8:00 PM: Colebrook Road in Concert

The Pearisburg Festival in the Park celebrates its 39th anniversary in Giles County, Virginia. This year promises to be one of the best ever! Enjoy carnival rides, three days of live entertainment, food vendors with all your favorite festival foods, special activities, vendors and crafters. There will be rides and games for the whole family!

Friday's headliner is Colebrook Road.

Colebrook Road is a bluegrass band from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania has developed a sound of their own centered in original songwriting, new interpretations, intricate arrangement, and unbridled improvisation, with a nod to the innovators who came before. It is obvious to any audience that the band shares a joy in making music together, and has worked hard on improving over time.

Keeping a band together and continuing to grow is a difficult task, but Colebrook Road has done just that, staying true to their bluegrass vision for a decade and a half. After creating four studio albums, touring coast to coast, and surviving the crushing blow of the pandemic, the band seeks to find new audiences and make new music all the while remembering where they came from.

With two albums in the top ten on the Billboard Music Chart in 2019 and 2021, a nomination for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Momentum Band Award in 2020, and a radio chart topping single in 2019, the band has worked hard to gain national notoriety.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Unlimited ride wristbands to use from 5:00-9:00 PM are available for pre-sale for Thursday-only for $18.00 at the Pearisburg Town Hall and at the festival for $20.00. Individual tickets for rides will also be available at the festival.

The Cancer Kids and Christmas & Pearisburg Festival Cruise-In will be held on Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Entry is $20.00 and vehicles must be registered by Noon. Trophies and prizes will be awarded.

Handicap-only parking is available at Deep River Chapel located at the corner of Wenonah Avenue and Elm Street. There will be plenty of regular parking in the back lot of the courthouse in downtown Pearisburg.

Free shuttle bus service is offered all nights for the duration of the Pearisburg Festival in the Park to and from downtown Pearisburg. Those planning to attend the festival may park behind the courthouse, ride the shuttle, and be dropped off right at the front lawn of the Pearisburg Community Center. The shuttle will make continuous loops and those planning to ride shouldn’t have to wait more than 10-15 minutes. The shuttle service will run as long as necessary to ensure festival goers can get back to their vehicles.

Chairs and blankets are welcome.

The festival is rain or shine.
