The Claytor Lake Festival Committee presents the 25th Annual Claytor Lake Festival on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Claytor Lake State Park in Dublin, VA.

• 7:00-10:00 AM: Everett Lee Yearout, Jr. Adult / Youth Fishing Tournament Registration
• 8:30-10:30 AM: Car & Motorcycle Show Registration
• 9:30 AM: Law Enforcement Drive In
• 9:45 AM - 3:00 PM: Law Enforcement Drive In & Display
• 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM: Car & Motorcycle Show
• 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM: Arts, Crafts & Food Vendors
• 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM: US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 83 NRV
• 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM: Chuckles the Clown onsite
• 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM: Wine Tasting with Mountain Rose and Woods Acre Winery
• 12:00 PM: Essays Due for Fishing Tournament

The festival kicks off the summer season at Claytor Lake State Park each year! Enjoy entertainment all day, fireworks at night, arts & crafts vendors, beach access included with admission, free children's activities, youth & adult fishing tournament, wine tasting and lots more!

Registration for the Everett Lee Yearout, Jr. Adult and Youth Fishing Tournament will be held 7:00-10:00 AM. This year the tournament theme is "There is a lot to learn from fishing because...". Essays are due at 12:00 PM. Trophies and awards will be given out in the afternoon.

The Car Show voting is done by the show participants who are completely registered by 10:30 AM. All entries will receive a dash plaque, goodie bag and category winners will receive trophies. There is no pre-registration fee. The fee is $20.00 to enter the car & motorcycle show and this is the only fee you pay to enter the festival.

Although the faces and names may have changed since we began performing in 1961, one thing hasn't - the party continues! The Castaways based in Durham, North Carolina bring an exciting sound, tremendous talent, energy, and performer versatility to your party.

With every note being played live, you can count on The Castaways to provide you with a perfect mix of Beach, Soul, and Rock-n-Roll. But, don't be surprised if we throw in a little country and top-40 too. Whether it be a wedding reception, corporate party, night club, or good old-fashioned beach party, The Castaways are your key to a great time!

Founded in the 1970s and reincarnated with new members as Back Alley II, based in Draper, Virginia, the band has years of experience playing all genres of music including beach, dance, classic rock, blues, country and more.

Highly skilled from both technical and theoretical abilities, the band appeals to audiences of all ages.

Admission for the Claytor Lake Festival is a $20.00 parking fee per vehicle or $15.00 with a donation of five cans of food that will be donated to a local food bank by Boy Scout Troop 249. Swimming is included with admission.

The event is rain or shine.

An ATM will be on site.

The Festival is planned by the Claytor Lake Festival Committee, a partnership between Pulaski County, Claytor Lake State Park and the Claytor Lake State Park Ambassadors.
