The Pulaski Community Youth Center and the Pulaski County Parks & Recreation Department presents After Dark in the Park: Free Movie Night featuring "A Million Miles Away" on Friday, June 21, 2024.

"A Million Miles Away" is a 2023 biographic drama starring Michael Pena, Rosa Salazar and Julio Cesar Cedillo and is rated PG.

Movie Synopsis:
Inspired by the real-life story of NASA flight engineer José Hernández, A Million Miles Away follows him on a decades-long journey, from a rural village in Michoacán, Mexico, to more than 200 miles above the Earth in the International Space Station. With the support of his family, José’s drive & determination culminates in the opportunity to achieve his seemingly impossible goal.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Popcorn, cotton candy, and drinks will be available for $1.00 each.

Bring your own blankets and/or chairs.

Gates open at 8:00 PM and the movie will begin at dusk.
