The YMCA of Pulaski County presents the 5th Annual YMCA of Pulaski County Highland Games on Saturday, June 22, 2024.

Celebrate your Scottish heritage with our all day Scottish Highland Games in multipole divisions! There will be lots of great athletes competing, food trucks, craft and business vendors and fun for the family! This is your opportunity to see professional and amateur Highland Games athletes in action competing in a variety of events.

The Highland Games are classified as a heavy athletics event dating back to the 11th century. Originally the games were a way for Highland warriors to stay in shape between battles. The Highland Games are a great spectator sport and feature men and women competing in Highland games events in multiple classes including the Sheaf Toss, Caber Toss, Stone Put "clachneart", Hammer Throw and more.

Admission is free for spectators.

The cost to compete is $30.00 per athlete.
