NRV Cares presents Flannels & FUNds on Thursday, October 10, 2024.

Come on out in your casual attire at the beautiful Nesselrod on the New and enjoy some live music, food, and information about NRV CARES to help us raise some funds!

Please bring your friends and join us for a casual, fall, evening from 5:30-9:00 PM filled with live music from the acoustic guitar duo American Roots and also solo artist Jim Bohon! We will have food from across the New River Valley, and information shared about NRV Cares throughout the evening. Delicious food, fantastic tunes, and making fall memories with friends will be included in your ticket purchase.

Tickets are $15.00 in advance and $20.00 at the door.

NRV CARES is an organization in the New River Valley that provides child advocacy, resources, education and services. Our program areas include CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Parent Education including Parenting Young Children Courses, Circle of Parents Support Group, Parenting Through Separation and Divorce Seminars, and Parenting workshops and Community Education programs ("Hugs and Kisses" plays, Stewards of Children trainings, the Pinwheels for Prevention campaign to increase awareness of child abuse/neglect, events for the community concerning child welfare issues, and many more).

NRV CARES’ mission is to strengthen families and protect children with a vision of our NRV free of child abuse.
