2024 Christiansburg Fire Department Fire Prevention Week Parade and Touch-A-Truck

The Christiansburg Volunteer Fire Department and the Town of Christiansburg presents the 20th Annual Fire Prevention Week Parade and Touch-A-Truck on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in downtown Christiansburg, VA.
Event Schedule:
• 5:45-6:45 PM: Touch-A-Truck
• 7:00 PM: Parade Starts
Local emergency response vehicles and fire trucks from across the New River Valley will drive through downtown Christiansburg in celebration of Fire Prevention Week starting at 7:00 PM.
All are invited to come out before the parade for a Touch-A-Truck available from 5:45-6:45 PM.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The parade route will be from East Main Street to Radford Street to Depot Street ending at the fire department in downtown Christiansburg, VA.
Note: Ear protection is recommended for young spectators. The Fire Department will be distributing hearing protection via UTVs prior to the start of the parade.
