Radford University presents the 2024 Homecoming Alumni Village with The Worx in concert on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at the Moffett Lawn on the campus of Radford University.

The Alumni Village will include a free concert by The Worx, alumni t-shirt giveaway, Highlanders Pipes and Drums Band performance, Parade of Tents, Lolli's Lunch Box food truck, Ultimate Frisbee exhibition and a Ferris Wheel!

Highlander Kid Zone is for kids of all ages and includes face painting, activity bags, balloons art, tie dye t-shirts and yard games.

The WORX is an award winning Mid-Atlantic regional band entertaining audiences for over 30 years. The professional musicianship, variety, and versatility will impress the hardest critics and leave you wanting to see more. What makes the WORX is the unique ability to adapt to any engagement with the skills to make it a sure success.

Covering all genres of music from modern pop to hip hop, from country to the eighties, The Worx can play it all. This is why the WORX is one of the most sought after bands in the region and has been voted a best band in Roanoke, VA.

Mix and mingle with fellow alumni and friends at the "What's Under the Kilt?" beverage area and celebrate the success of the Together Campaign. Cash bar will be available. Must be 21 or older to consume alcohol. ID check is required. Purchases by cash only.

Stop by the Alumni Village for the free Homecoming edition t-shirt. Alumni must pick up their t-shirt in person starting at 2:00 PM. Sizes and quantities are limited.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
