The Floyd Country Store presents Djoukil in concert on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Djoukil is a group of five fantastic French musicians joined by their common passion for the music of Django Reinhardt style Gypsy Jazz and American Swing mixed with some ballads "à la Française". Their favorite era being the jazz/swing rhythms and melodies of the 1940s makes them a much sought after band for swing dances, festivals and concerts in France and in the United States!

Originating from France's thriving music scene, the Djoukil Swingtet skillfully blends the catchy rhythms of swing with the improvisational quality of jazz. Their music is an enticing blend of complex harmonies, syncopated beats, and lyrical melodies that make it hard to resist listening.

Djoukil Swingtet draws inspiration from the greatest jazz and swing performers of all time to give their concerts a contagious energy that leaves listeners in awe. Their songs are an ode to life, love, and the sheer joy of making music.
