Virginia Tech and the Virginia Tech Alumni Association presents the 2024 Homecoming Tailgate before the Georgia Tech vs. Virginia Tech football game on Saturday, October 26, 2024 outside at the Holtzman Alumni Center lawn on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Make plans to tailgate with us before the Hokies football team takes on Georgia Tech for Homecoming with the football game starting at Noon! Registration includes food and drinks. Guests will enjoy lawn games, live music, a petting zoo, inflatables, and much more. Each attendee 21 & older will receive three drink tickets for adult beverages.

Numerous groups from across campus will also be at the tailgate and there will be lots of interactive activities and demonstrations.

The cost is $15.00 in advance and $20.00 the day of the event. Children 12 & under are free.

$5.00 of each paid registration will help fund the Alumni Scholarship Fund.

All are welcome including non-alums.

Parking at Perry Street Parking Garage is recommended for its proximity to the Homecoming Tailgate. The cost is $30.00 per vehicle. Other parking options can be found at: https://parking.vt.edu/parking/sep/football-parking.html.

No direct shuttle is available from the Homecoming Tailgate to or from the game. The Orange BT transit bus loop is across the street from the Homecoming Tailgate to shuttle attendees to and from the game.

This is a rain or shine event. Pets are not allowed; only service animals are permitted.

The Holtzman Alumni Center is located at 901 Price's Fork Road in Blacksburg, VA on the campus of Virginia Tech.
