The Montgomery County Department of Social Services is hosting a Career and Resource Festival on October 30, 2024 at the Christiansburg Library from 2:00-5:00 PM.
This event is intended to connect community members with career opportunities with perspective employers as well as provide local resources. We will have staff on-site available to help with benefits applications (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Medicaid, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, Energy Assistance, and Child Care Assistance). The event will also feature onsite interviews, application assistance and resume writing.
We will also have family-friendly activities including a bounce house, games, face painting and food trucks!
