The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the VT String Faculty with Special Guests Kim Fredenburgh on viola and Kevin Vigneauin on oboe in concert on Monday, October 14, 2024 inside the Creativity and Innovation District LLC Building on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Guest artists Kim Fredenburgh, viola and Kevin Vigneau, oboe will join Virginia Tech string faculty members, Molly Wilkens-Reed, viola, John Irrera, violin and Alan Weinstein, cello for a concert of eclectic gems. Both Fredenburgh and Vigneau are Professors of Music at the University of New Mexico and have performed as soloists worldwide. The program will include oboe quartets of Mozart and Françaix as well as duos by Lutoslawski and Kenji Bunch.

General public tickets are $15.00, seniors are $12.00 and students are $10.00.
