Radford University presents a Free Concert with the United States Air Force Heritage Brass on Saturday, November 9, 2024 inside Performance Hall located within the Covington Center on the campus of Radford University.
Veterans, active-duty and dependent students, faculty & staff as well as the New River Valley community are invited to this unique opportunity that serves as the kickoff to Radford's Veterans Day Celebration!
The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band is proud to present Heritage Brass, a pioneering symphonic brass ensemble. Heritage Brass is a 11-piece brass ensemble with percussion and a vocalist and will be performing a Veteran's Day program with music by all American composers.
Bringing the military tradition of brass and percussion to the concert stage, Heritage Brass presents programs that are both exhilarating and intimate. The ensemble presents a diverse repertoire, featuring orchestral transcriptions, patriotic favorites, jazz standards, new compositions, and distinctive arrangements.
Admission is free and open to the public.
