Wildwood Farms General Store presents The Nunn Brothers in concert to celebrate the 20th year of The Crooked Road Music Trail on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
We are very grateful and honored to host this show to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Crooked Road Music Trail! Heritage music is so important to us, and we want to continue to honor the tradition of great bluegrass music.
The Nunn Brothers are a bluegrass band from Woodville, North Carolina.
Twin brothers Alden and Arnold grew up in the Woodville Community and were taught to play fiddle by their father, the late Clarence Olin Nunn, when they were about eight years old. By the age of 14 they began playing at area fiddlers’ conventions, and at age 16 they formed the Nunn Brothers Band. The two have been playing area and regional events ever since.
Alden is the fiddler in the band, and Arnold plays guitar, but both are multi-instrumentalists, each playing banjo, mandolin, and piano as well.
They also host the Annual Nunn Brothers Bluegrass Festival which has been held in their hometown for over 20 years.
