Blacksburg Wine Lab presents an Alexander Cyrus Vertical Tasting on Sunday, November 24, 2024.
Join us for a special once in a lifetime vertical tasting of Alexander Valleys' Cyrus, a Cabernet Sauvignon based blend on November 24th from 3pm - 5pm. We will taste through 5 vintages, 2013 - 2017 with Alexander Valleys regional sales director, Shaun Ross and Ryan Keaton with Breakthru Beverage.

In 1995 founder Hank Wetzel created a Cabernet based blend that was a tribute to Cyrus Alexander and the very special place that Alexander Valley Vineyards calls home.
Winemaker Kevin Hall selects the most distinctive lots of our estate grown Bordeaux varietals for Cyrus: Cabernet Sauvignon with exceptional concentration, purity & lush texture; Cabernet Franc with finesse & depth; Merlot for concentration & structure; Petit Verdot for vivid color & richness and Malbec for deep color & depth.
Perfectly crafted food pairings including lamb, will be included in the ticket price. Come taste the past in a glass.
