The Wilderness Road Regional Museum presents their annual Newbern Noel Night on Saturday, December 7, 2024 in Historic Newbern, Virginia.
Please come by and enjoy all that we have to offer! Enjoy dancing by Floyd Historical Dancers, Heritage Craft Sale with the Barn Bazaar, and historically inspired sweets and savories along with Wassail.
The Floyd Historical Dancers will perform and present inside the Do-Better Cottage and share Early American dances that would have been familiar to early resident of Newbern along the Great Road. The public is encouraged to join in and they will teach you some of the dances as well. But, wall flowers are certainly welcome too and can it enjoy the dancing from the audience.
Newbern Noel Night will also have a heritage craft sale "Barn Bazaar" going on as well in the 1818 Barn featuring unique gifts for purchase. Traditional snacks and Wassail from Newbern apples will be available to enjoy too.
The overall event is free to attend, but donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. No reservations required.
And don't forget we will have professional photographer Darren Van Dyke doing Holiday Photo sessions in the Log Kitchen earlier in the day from 12:00-3:45 PM. Sessions with photographer Darren Van Dyke are 15 minutes long and he will send you two digital photos to use for holiday cards or prints. Each session is a $50 donation to help the museum.
