Narrows Parks and Recreation and the Narrows Volunteer Fire Department presents A Very Narrows Christmas 2024 on Sunday, December 8, 2024 with most events centered at the Narrows Farmers Market.
Event Schedule:
• 1:00-7:00 PM: Christmas Market with Vendors
• 1:00-7:00 PM: Narrows Synthetic Ice Rink Open
• 3:00 PM: Fire Department Ride Around Town
• 5:00-6:00 PM: Luminary Walk
• 5:00-7:00 PM: Santa at the Market
• 7:00 PM: Narrows Christmas Parade in Downtown Narrows
Join us for this great Christmas event for a full day of Christmas fun that the family will love featuring a wide variety of events including the annual Holiday Market, Narrows Christmas Parade, skating, fire department rides around town, Santa, Inaugural Luminary Walk and Christmas Fun at the Market!
Enjoy the Holiday Market with numerous vendors for Christmas shopping from 1:00-7:00 PM. The Narrows Ice Rink will also be open from 1:00-7:00 PM. The fire department's Rides Around Town will start at 3:00 PM. Santa will be at the market from 5:00-7:00 PM.
The 1st Annual Luminary Walk will be held from 5:00-6:00 PM hosted by local churches of Giles County. The Luminary Walk will start at Memorial Boulevard down to Mary Street. Various churches will have stops along the way for visitors to stop and enjoy some Christmas magic including crafts, candy canes, cookies & hot chocolate, live nativity and more.
The Narrows Christmas Parade will begin at 7:00 PM in downtown Narrows and the parade line-up will begin at 6:15 PM.
After the parade, enjoy more Christmas fun with Santa at the fire department where he will be distributing treat bags.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
Some come out and see what a Very Narrows Christmas is all about!
NOTE: The Christmas Parade was postponed from Thursday, November 5th due to cold temperatures.
Narrows Farmers Market is located at 135 Monroe Street in Narrows, VA.
