The Jessie Peterman Library presents "Jolabokaflod: Christmas Book Flood" on Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Join in the cozy Icelandic tradition of giving, receiving, and reading books for Christmas, often while enjoying chocolate and warm drinks. Jolabokaflod literally translates into Christmas Book Flood.
You're invited to bring a new or gently used book to participate in a book exchange, then receive a new-to-you book! It's not required to bring a book, we'll have lots of books available to choose from. Enjoy light refreshments, a craft, and more!
The Jessie Peterman Library is located at 321 West Main Street in Floyd, VA.
