The Town of Christiansburg presents their annual Christmas on Main on Friday, December 13, 2024 at various locations in downtown Christiansburg, VA.
Schedule of Events:
• 5:00-8:00 PM: Christmas at the Market
• 6:50 PM: Tree Lighting at Town Square
• 7:00 PM: Christmas Parade
Join us for the Christmas Market featuring local crafters, food & other vendors, followed by the Tree Lighting Ceremony and the Christmas Parade, themed "Decorations, Gifts and Way".
Christiansburg Farmers' Market vendors, local crafters and food vendors will be set up for the event. All other vendors not in these areas are not sanctioned by the Town as part of the event.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony with the mayor will take place at Town Square at roughly 6:50 PM with a special guest appearance with the Christmas Parade starting at 7:00 PM.
The parade will begin near the intersection of Main Street and Pepper Street and end at the intersection of Main Street and Phlegar Street.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
At the end of the parade, spectators on the north (National Guard Armory) side of Main Street should exit via College Street. Spectators on the south (Dollar General) side of Main Street should exit via First Street.
