Uptown Christiansburg presents the Old Pros Big Band Orchestra Holiday Music Performance on Sunday, December 8, 2024.

The Old Pros Big Band is an all-volunteer band based in the New River Valley in southwest Virginia. Founded in 1973, the band specializes in music of the big band era and performs concerts, dance club events, receptions, and fund raisers on a regular basis across Southwest Virginia.

Today membership includes professionals, small business owners, teachers, retirees, and students. Their ages and musical backgrounds are as varied as their professions.
