The Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department a "School's Out Fun Day!" on Thursday, January 2, 2025 and Friday, January 3, 2025.

Blacksburg Parks and Recreation will host "School’s Out Fun Day", a brand-new programming opportunity for kids ages 6-10, to be held on days when Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) are closed for teacher workdays.

Each day will feature different activities, including games, art, swimming, disc golf, bowling, laser tag, and more. Participants should bring a packed, nut-free lunch for each day, as well as a swimsuit and towel.

The cost is $50.00 for Town of Blacksburg Residents and $60.00 for non-residents.
