Aside Oceans makes a musical return for a night of all their hits stripped down for the unplugged event after at seven years of not performing together on stage. Joined by local hometown heroes Dallas Danger, Captain Red Beard, Phillip Ring and Jim Bohon and Rob Abbott of Jimothy.

Nestled in the heart of Southwest Virginia in Pulaski, VA, the roots of Appalachia invade our senses. It can rock and roll our souls in the cool mountain air, the simplistic southern hospitality, and take us away from all the distractions our lives absorb. The beauty within these southern limits has brought us a new and fresh appreciation for setting aside all differences to be moved by the very sounds that commence a rejuvenating hope in all of us.

Aside Oceans brings us the alternative rock melodies that allow us to rekindle our love for traditional rock music. Staying true to the soul-mountains they have been raised on, the members of Aside Oceans have created a perfect balance of established sound while keeping us in the very present of society’s constant musical progression. The passionate five-piece is a dynamic force in the world of Rock and Roll and is making a stunning presence all over the east coast.

Filled with flawless harmonies, Aside Oceans is derived from an ideal blend of influences. The Band has a special place in their hearts for The Foo Fighters, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Third Eye Blind, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Switchfoot, Huey Lewis and the News, and Muddy Waters to name a few. Their eclectic tastes demonstrate an outstanding combination of music that can stir our musical psyches and keep us pushing our tuneful appetites and patience to their maximum restrictions.

Their distinctive style fills a void many of us have been searching for and it’s evident that they are persistently true to who they are. Aside Oceans is addicted to inventing sounds that pull from the different elements and generations of Rock and Roll that allows them to appeal to an exceptionally diverse and pleased audience. The Band is strictly about the music for the music. Performing with a captivating stage presence, superbly engineered three-part harmonies, flawless guitar tones, idyllic bass-drive, and steady-driven percussion, Aside Oceans is vividly capturing attention of all music enthusiasts. They are clearly on the rise and are at the top of their class for up and coming rock bands.

Although he calls "The Birthplace of Country Music" his home, Dallas Danger meshes his roots with punk, folk, and americana influences to forge his own brand of acoustic rock 'n' roll. Down home, Saturday night nostalgia mixed with the passion and driving force of garage band punk rock gives Dallas an identity that truly distinguishes him from his peers.

With the 2013 release "Time Machine", he sang the anthems of love, loss, and redemption through the memoirs of a southern boy longing to have his voice heard. A regular in any small, smokey bar room that will afford him a microphone, Dallas Danger looks to continue to fill the ears and hearts of sing-along crowds wherever he goes.

Jimothy is a multi-genre band based around the solo work of singer and guitarist Jim Bohon based in the New River Valley region of Virginia. Jim is a multi-instrumentalist, and performed all instrumentation and vocals on the band's debut album "Never In A Million Years," before fleshing out a full band when the album proved to be popular among local audiences. Jimothy love what they do, and it shines through in their performance, no matter the event or venue.
