The Chance Harman Memorial Fund presents the 18th Annual Chance Harman Classic Basketball Tournament on Friday, January 3, 2025 and Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Floyd County High School.
The Chance Harman Memorial Fund will be celebrating 2025 as some of the biggest and brightest stars of Prep Boys Basketball invade Floyd County for a total of 14 games with seven games on Friday and seven games on Saturday.
Friday Game Schedule:
• 10:30 AM: Auburn vs. Altavista
• 12:00 PM: Christiansburg vs. Pulaski County
• 1:30 PM: Alleghany vs. Blacksburg
• 3:00 PM: Miller School (VA) vs. Tri-Cities Christian Academy (TN)
• 4:30 PM: Radford vs. Heritage
• 6:00 PM: Spotswood vs. George Washington
• 7:30 PM: Slam Dunk Competition
• 8:00 PM: Blue Ridge School (VA) vs 1 of 1 Academy (NC)
Saturday Game Schedule:
• 10:00 AM: Patrick County vs. Fort Chiswell
• 11:30 AM: Miller School (VA) vs. 1 of 1 Academy (NC)
• 1:00 PM: Cave Spring vs. Carroll County
• 2:30 PM: Blue Ridge School (VA) vs. Tri-Cities Christian Academy (TN)
• 4:00 PM: George Wythe vs. Bishop McGuinness Catholic (NC)
• 5:30 PM: E.C. Glass vs. Northside
• 7:00 PM: Floyd County vs. Franklin County
Admission is $10.00 each day.
There will also be a silent auction with numerous sports memorabilia and more up for bid and a raffle with multiple prizes up for grabs with tickets starting at $5.00. Concessions will also be available for purchase.
Chance Harman Memorial Fund (CHMF) is a 501(c)3 Not-for-profit organization based in Floyd, Virginia that raises awareness and research for the medical advancement of Pediatric Brain Cancer. CHMF was formed in 2007 to honor Chance Harman, the son of Brian and Desirae Harman, and his battle with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, a rare for of a medulloblastoma childhood brain tumor also known as ATRT. Through the strong support of a small community in Southwest Virginia, CHMF has grown into the premier regional prep basketball event in Virginia.
