Description:
The Power Plant presents the Gardening Class titled "Growing From Seeds" led by Gabriella the Garden Sage on Sunday, January 19, 2025.
It's seed season and the catalogs are calling with their gorgeous photos and enticing descriptions. So many affordable options coming at you! But, growing things from seed is only cost effective if they actually grow. Set yourself up for seed success with this hands-on seed starting workshop with self-confessed seed obsessive Gabriella the Garden Sage.
We'll go over different types of seeds, seed starting mixes, what it means to "stratify," using heat mats, seed shelf life, why some seeds like the cold, and much more.
Bring your seeds to swap, or just bring your questions. All attendees will go home with some free seeds of their choice as well as comprehensive handouts from the class. I'll also have a curated selection of seeds I've grown for sale.
The class cost is $30.00 per person, and space is limited.
