The Radford University College of Visual & Performing Arts presents Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas Opera Concert on Friday, April 4, 2025 and April 5, 2025 inside Performance Hall located within the Covington Center on the campus of Radford University.
This is performance of Dido and Aeneas, one of the earliest English operas, performed by members of the Radford University Music Department. The opera recounts the love of Dido, Queen of Carthage, for the Trojan hero Aeneas, and her despair when he abandons her.
Admission is free, open to everyone and does not require tickets.
