Description:
The School of Performing Arts presents the play "Stupid F##king Bird" with six performances starting on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 through Saturday, March 1, 2025 inside the Squires Studio Theatre on the campus of Virginia Tech.

Aaron Posner’s hilarious and heartbreaking "Stupid F##king Bird" takes Chekhov’s classic comedy of broken dreams and thwarted love The Seagull and lovingly turns it inside-out. An aspiring young writer-director and his fame-fueled muse, an aging Hollywood star and her notorious novelist lover, and a mopey ukulele-playing fangirl who always wears black all seek emotional refuge and creative revolution on the shores of a mythical lake. The clash of familial obligation, artistic vision, and romantic aspiration finds fresh and foul-mouthed form in this provocative meta-theatrical romp.

Sort of adapted from "The Seagull" by Anton Chekhov and directed by David R. Gammons.

Tickets are $15.00 for the general public and $12.00 for seniors, students and youth.
